I took the girls to the Spori Gallery last week and I was quite inspired by the cool artistic balls I saw, so feeling very creative, I decide to make one for my artistic Dad's birthday tomarrow. The orange background one is the one I made. I thought it turned out kind of cool and it was fun to make... though it is definitely not your typical birthday present. :)
A Rough Week!
My girls love to color! I'm proud of Amberlee! I feel like she is getting pretty good. I can actually identify people and their features now days. Its a big step for us! :) (The picture is of Aunt Goo or Catherine- a perfect lik
eness I would say! :)
I don't know if you can tell, but the girls are sick in these pictures- we caught some kind of virus in the fam and we just keep passing it back and forth. I feel like it is the destroying angel and wheres the lambs blood when you need it! (not to be sacreligious)
Poor Autumn- she has had a rough couple of weeks. She should get a big price if she can make it through these toddler years! First she fell down the bottom stairs and basically broke her nose- it was so bruised and bleeding! Then acouple days ago I though it would be fun to take the girls jogging in the gym and I forgot to strap her in and completely ran over her about five minutes into my run. (She has a big old tire mark bruise on her cheek.) Of course she didn't want to get back in either. Then she got a bad eye infection and now her nose is just raw from this virus. She is constantly falling off of things. Man, I feel like a terrible mom... I hope she survives me!

Amberlee's ear is looking great! This is a picture of her next to a puzzle from Aunt Bethany. She showed up with that and a baloon and then Catherine showed up with a cute princess pillowcase that Amberlee won't sleep without now. I have the best sisters ever!
We Made Snow-Icecream! (Don't worry- it was fresh snow. Chelsea, in California requested that I make it since they have had a shortage of snow. I'll have to post the recipe- it was fun and good, but it didn't really taste like ice-cream. I actually ended up putting it in the blender with some peaches and it made a fabulous smoothy!
Typical tub-time with the girls! Thats their favorite part of the day, and mine... until I have to clean up all the water they have spilled. :)

Exploring Annoucements...
I have been having fun creating announcements. I have a really high quality program Doug gave me for Christmas a couple years ago and I am finally figuring things out. I just made an announcement for my little brother Anthony and his fiance for their wedding. I thought it turned out awesome, and I would post it, but I would hate to still their thunder. :) If you know of anyone who might want a great deal on baby or wedding announcements, or even Christmas cards- anything, pass the word on. Thanks!

Miss A's Ear Surgery
Little Amberlee went in for surgery this morning. It was a right ear external auditory meatus constructive surgery. She was just a peach! The nurses kept warning us that she would get cranky after waking up, but she was a doll and shocked them all. We were trying to decide whether or not to take her home yet and I asked, "Amberlee, how are you feeling?" and she responded, "Mommy, you asked me that again and again and again..." We had a good laugh and decided she was ready after an answer like that. :) She is doing great though- Her biggest concern was to ensure that she got a green Popsicle... which she did. She is resting and recovering quickly. We're proud of her being so brave!
