The Little Things...

This is "A Fairy Home" designed by Amberlee and Autumn- complete with garage, kitchen, and bedroom... please note the dollar bill pillows... the tooth fairies home perhaps? :) I just love it when the girls get creative like this... it all started with a diaper box and it kept them busy for a long time! :)
This sweet man is going to turn my girls into little mathematicians! They can each solve suduku puzzles (with just a little help from dad) like pros! They love it when he pulls out the book, and they choose this over a board game. :)
I can't believe we are already heading into cold weather!!! I pulled out all the winter stuff and took inventory... and so did Autumn and Seth. However, they had unforeseen plans for my scarfs. :)

A Fun Birthday Party...

Amberlee and Autumn got invited to a fun birthday party. Their friend Ali is so cute and they were tickled with this amazing rainbow cake- isn't that awesome! I thought the kids were cute all lined up there. They had fun!

...Seth on the other hand had had enough of the "girly stuff" and he ran for it. I spent a good 15 minutes just frantically hunting for him- circling buildings and asking people. I found him wandering around the complex playground, trying to find out how to get in. The little punk... about gave me a heart attack! (multiple times.)

A day of Blogging

It looks like Lydia and I had the same idea today. After your done enjoying the fantasticalness of her latest posts, feel free to hop on over to my not-so-fantastical but possibly-sortof-maybe-interesting portfolio and photography blogs. After a long stint of ignoring them completely, I spent a couple of hours today adding a pretty good chunk of content to each.

Find them here....

The Cookie Monsters...

My cute friend invited us over for a little cookie decorating party. It was so fun! The kids "ate it up" and had a blast dumping sprinkles all over the cookies. I thought it was a fun idea!

Amberlee wanted to take a picture of her decorated cookies- I guess that is what I get for my food blogging and always taking pictures of our food.

Work Hard, Work Hard...

I took the kids to the in-door play ground the other day as a "reward" for good behavior, and they were thrilled. Seth especially loved it.

Play Dough Party...

I found a great play dough recipe that I posted on my cooking blog. It makes great play dough that is just like the store bought stuff. The kids had a lot of fun playing with it!

Recreation? Hmmmm....

Bike Ride to the Park

This poor little trailer is pretty weighed down- I think we are going to have to come up with a new arrangement come spring, but we still had a fun time! :) At least I think the kids did- all squooshed up in there.
I don't think I mentioned that Doug traded in his fancy "terra tryke". It just wasn't what he had hoped for- issues with curbs and walking it, and he happened to get a defective model that had some problems with the gears, so he ended up exchanging for a really nice bike that he seems really happy with. Sometimes, you just can't beat a good old fashioned bike. :)

Typical Day...

They girls have had so much fun playing with this princess book from Grandma. They have spent hours setting it up and changing outfits- I just love stuff like this! :)

We picked up Daddy from school, but somehow I think we wore him out rather then boosting him up. :)

Autumn's Pizza Party...

We all enjoyed pizza... lot's of pizza!
The kids played "Ghost, Ghost, Boo" (instead of Duck, Duck, Goose... I thought I was quite clever.)
And the kids drew little faces on the mini pumpkins.

Gifts and Cupcakes

I have still not figured out how to make gift opening non-chaotic, but it was still fun!

...And we finished it all off with cupcakes. A Happy Birthday I think!
