It's Not Easy Being Green...

On St. Patrick's Day Sunday...
...we called to wish Grandma a Happy Birthday, 

We gobbled up piles of green pancakes,
 

And sipped and slurped down green spinach smoothies,
 

And I tried to take a picture in our Green "Sunday Best."
"Seth, get your hands out of your mouth!"

The girls had a school Book Fair and somehow they got it in their head that Dad was going to take them early to buy a prize. :)  So the sweet man humored them and we all decided to join on a beautiful, rainy morning.  Unfortunately they were more interested in the cheapo overpriced "invisible ink" pens than the actual books. (I haven't forgotten that stage-- I remember well the slap bracelets and the "break-the-string-all-too-quickly-paddle-boards." :)  We will definitely do things differently next time. :) Fun family outing though.

She loves it, and I love watching her!

My Little Princess...

My precious little Amberlee Joy is turning EIGHT!  She is so excited to be baptized, she can hardly stand the wait.  When we had our little "forest photoshoot," the main reason was to catch a few sweet pictures of her.  She absolutely ate it up. :)  She has such a special little spirit.  I am lucky to have her and looking forward to this special time ahead!

Into the Woods...

I loaded up the kids last Saturday for a little Spring Photoshoot at one of our favorite spots.  They were freezing, but fairly cooperative.  I was happy with the pictures- I love this little crew!
