What do you do...

What do you do when hear the muffled cry of a baby, and you walk into the play room to find your daughter sweetly cleaning up the nursery and your baby locked in the closet because "he was making it hard to clean up the mess."

Seriously, what do you do? I've missed the boat somewhere along the way.

I find myself being faced with these kinds of sinarios far more often then any mother should be.

My Husband, the Landscape Architect

I just love this man! I had no idea he was so talented! He has become quite the artist lately. He just finished such a neat project where he had to create all his own graphics and put them together on a presentation board. It looked awesome. The other night, I couldn't get the girls to come to bed because they were so fascinated by his color, etc. He is doing such a great job in his program. I am so proud of him! I just sat and watched him put stuff together in photoshop and I was completely amazed with his skills! Go Doug!
Doug isn't the only one "creating" things around here. Amberlee is sporting a pair of "glasses" she made. :)g

A Ten-month-old LOVE CHUB...

The little tiger is 10 months today! How I love my little Seth! I can't believe he is so big! He's up and down stairs, crawling all over, climbing up to things, dancing- as you can see, clapping, and he just learned to "click" with his tongue. He is a sweet little guy and he brings a lot of joy into our home! 10 months of LOVE!

Happy talkee-talkee... Happy Talk!

Cute Amberlee gave her second ever talk in Primary on Sunday. (Here is a link to her first one.) I was so proud of her. She remembered the whole thing without me having to help her. She did a great job! The only thing that went wrong was that she was extremely disappointed to find out that it was not a sacrament talk (I kept wondering why she wanted a pulpit so bad while we practiced), but that it was just for her primary. She was quite upset. I plan on reminding her of that when she is one of the nervous youth speakers down the road. :) I have the CUTEST recording of her doing it on Sunday, but it was to high of resolution to post, so I had her do it again from memory, and she forgot some of it, but she still did pretty good, so this will at least give Grandma and Grandpa and idea. :)

Isn't it ironic that she is tripping over toys? I wish she would "tip tow" into the front room and tidy it up a bit for the "tired mom". :)

Picture Perfect for Sunday...

My sister and I joke around about Sunday morning being the only time everyone looks nice and ready all at the same time for a family picture. It is usually true around here, so I had to snap a couple pictures this morning of my cute little kiddos. :) I love them so much! They are growing so fast, and I'm so grateful the Lord trusted me with such sweet little spirits. I'm a pretty lucky gal!

(In reference to a previous post about my stairs. :) By the way, our vacuum died, and we had to get a new one. The hose works great, and just for your information, the stairs are now regularly vacuumed. Just thought you should know. :)

Picture Perfect!

Thanks Aunt Pete for the fun dresses you made! The girls want to wear them every week!

It's "snow" beautiful!!!

Who would love opening their eyes in the morning to this? This it just outside my bedroom window and talk about starting the day off right! I just layed there thinking how beautiful the world is! I didn't want to get up! How wonderful to just cover everything it a bright beautiful white every now and then- to just clean it all up and vere away from the muddy browns and grays of winter. I even had to say a little pray of thanks for creations like this that just make our earthly exsistance so worthwhile! Isn't our Heavenly Father wonderful! This is just one of the many ways that make me know he loves us! What a gift to be able to see things like this. (Even if it took a while to explain to the girls that, "no, it is not Christmas yet." :)

Trip to the Park...

It has been nice to have some warmer weather. My friend Afton talked us into joining them at the park. It was fun to get out and the kids sure loved swinging!

Bears... Oh My!

We went on a Joy School fieldtrip to see the bears and sheep in Pullman. It was fun to have all the kids get together. After we stopped by McDonalds and let them run around for a while. It was a fun play day!

My friend Helaine came over with fun princess prizes for the girls. They were pretty excited! (Don't you love how Amberlee is sporting my nightgown- don't know when they pulled that one out of my drawer, but they have sure beem excite about it. It is now in competition with the white dress.)

Seth is Clapping!!!

My little baby tiger is growing so fast! He just figured out how to clap this week. He also figured out how to get down the stairs all by himself (without falling. :) He is so cute as he turns himself around and waits for his little feet to hit the next stair. He is almost 10 months now! I can't believe how fast time flies, or how much I could just love this little guy!

Dizzy...

A typical night at the Stewarts...

(Mostly I love how it doesn't even phase "student" Doug in the back ground. He has learned to tune out our craziness... and to join in on occasion, time permitting. :)

One of the Animals Escaped...

A Trip to Cabela's

Manly men in a "manly" store. :)

Pictures just don't capture the splendor! Post Falls is really pretty with the mountains and forest around. It was really misty and cloudy and the effect was beautiful!

Cabela Shmella... :)

We took a trip to Post Falls this last weekend and Doug was in heaven at Cabella's. I would go every week just to see that cute "10-year-old-boy" look of pure delight and excitement on his face. I could just tell he was having so much fun. It is the ultimate guy store! And of corse he had to purchase of pistol with his birthday money, which I think completed his "bliss". :) It was really fun for the kids and I, too. (You can tell they haven't been to Disneyland. The displays were so fun to look at, and they got so excited!) It was fun to have a good visit in the car and we played car games on the way home and packed some fun snacks. It was a great trip over-all and I'm glad we got some fun family time in together. (Even if we did come home with an extra "fire-arm". :)

Mmmm...

We took a fun trip to Coeur d'Alene and Post Falls this last weekend. We stopped for lunch at this yummy Mexican place- it was kind of like Bajios. I thought it was SO GOOD! It was fun to get out a little bit and see some fun places!
