The kids got some good dancing time in over the break.
Momma Stewart got a beautiful new piano and we all had to try it out.

Ice-cold milk and an oreo cookie...
Grandpa Scott taught the girls to "proper" way to eat an oreo. He even taught them about the "Double-dip, double-dunk, Double-shlunk."
A Thanksgiving Surprise!!!
We decided to surprise our parents this year for Thanksgiving. We put the kids on the doorstep with a sign that said, "Feast on us this Thanksgiving!" It was fun to see the look of shock on their faces! :) (But I think we'll give them a little bit of a heads-up next time. :)
Grandma Nana is the "Story Grandma" and the girls were delighted to get some good stories read to them over the break. We had such a fun visit- there are more posts to come!

Life with the Man-Cub...
Seth's favorite place it the tub! He gets so excited about splashing around. Check out the size of the mouth! (I'm trying to be discrete- Doug told me I need to stop posting bath pictures... and he is probably right. I just think their little pink bodies are so cute!)
Amberlee is excited about taking pictures- and I realized this is like the first picture with me in it since sometime this summer. :) I just usually the one taking them.
I just had to get a record that Seth's little body was small enough to sit in between the counter and cupboards. I thought it was cool, and I quickly realized this is a really bad idea. He is way to busy to be up there- as much as he loves it. :)
The First Snow Fall of the Winter...
We got our first snow fall last week and the girls had fun playing in it. It is all melted now, but it was fun while it lasted. :) Poor Autumn is wearing a jogging suit- at least it repelled the snow, even though it wasn't every warm. Got to break down and get her a snow suit.

Ode to the Hideous White Baptism Dress...
Welcome to a typical night at the crazy Stewart home. Doug and I crack up every time we watch these (Just is the last three days we have probably watched it 30-40 times!), and we thought it was about time we share the laughs.
I call this "Trouble Counting-Down"... (Possible America's Funniest Home Videos entry. :)
You should know that somehow "yodeling" came up over our dinner conversation, and with the internet at our fingertips, I did a YouTube search for yodeling. We listened and the girls loved it. It got them totally worked up, and resulted in the following videos...
Note: I have actually been practicing yodeling and I am figuring it out! (much to Doug's displeasure. He can't stand it-- he just says that no man should see or hear that happening to his wife, but I am quite fascinated by the whole process. I'm sure my neighbors are wondering what is going on.) :)
Second Note: And sorry if Autumn is wearing your old baptism dress. My mom picked it up at the D.I. a few years ago and she hasn't taken it off since. She is always asking me if she can wear it. I can usually get some serious leverage by allowing her to put it on. :) (I went through the same thing with Amberlee too. It is by far the favorite dress-up. Thanks Grandma Kaye... I guess. :)
Amberlee's leopard pants, also care of Grandma Kaye. :)

The next Harry Potter...
The weirdest thing happened the other night! We got attacked by this powerful dark wizard- I was able to hold him off somewhat with a love charm, but it was Seth who withstood him in the end. He was left with a strange moon-shaped marking on his forehead, and he has been complaining that is hurts him sometimes. Crazy times!!!
Ok... I think I am so funny! :) Actually poor Seth fell out of the crib- he grabbed some markers off the desk and took a dive with them. (Don't even ask me why I have markers within his reach.) Believe it or not, the round shape is actually from a marker lid- he landed straight on it. Good things quickly came though, Daddy lowered the crib as a result. :)

Fire Station Field Trip
We took a fun joy school field trip to the fire station where Fire-fighter Joe showed us around. The girls had fun checking out the inside of a fire-engine.

Seth is Still Drummin'...
I don't know why it cracks me up when Doug drums with this kid. :) And sorry to post a bath picture, but I had to share those cute chunky lets with you. :) Also- I finally have proof of Seth crawling. He is all over the place! Baby-proofing once again. :)

Honest Scrap... no not "crap". We don't say that word!
My cute cousin Amanda awarded me the Honest Scrap Award:
Thanks Cuz! She's a cute Alabama gal, and I have seen far too little of her in my life. We wrote letters back and forth for years growing up. It has been so fun to read her posts and see her cute little family grow. She is a great person and a fabulous example! This is one of my favorite posts of hers- it is so true to life! Also, I must confess, if we're being totally honest, I don't usually participate in the "tag" kind of things (I think about my answers way to much- I am probably the slowest servey taker ever!), but this has been surprisingly fun, and I have really been missing my camera, which by the way I found today, just as soon as we ordered a new one. (Anybody need a charger- so ironic!) So it is nice to have something to post!
Here are the rules for the award:
1)You must thank the person who gave the award and list their blog and link it.
2) You must share "10 Honest Things" about yourself.
3) You have to present this award to 7 others whose blogs you find brilliant in content and/or design, or those who have encouraged you.
4) Last, you must tell those 7 people they've been awarded HONEST SCRAP and inform them of these guidelines in receiving the award.
10 Honest Things About Me
1. I don't have any two spoons alike in my silver-ware drawer. (I did have a set at one point, don't ask me how it happened, and sorry if we have your spoon. :)
2. I still LOVE dressing up and dancing. It is one of my favorite things and now I have two, sometimes three little dancers to join me. I actually really stink at dancing- I'm not super coordinated, but my heart yerns to be a dancer. :) Maybe in the next life... a gypsy perhaps?
3. I typically get up an average of 4-5 times a night since my little Sethling came along almost 8 months ago. Three kids and I'm still trying to figure out the sleeping thing. You would all like me a lot more if I got decent sleep, but I'm trying to be pleasant.
4. I am terribly tempted by Seth's baby food. I liked it even before I had kids, that has only made it harder on me. Banana, and banana-strawberry are my favorite, but I'll take any of the fruits. Needless to say, I have to hide them from myself and Doug usually feeds Seth the fruit. :)
5. I never go to bed without brushing, flossing, and removing make-up (the very little that I wear.) I have real difficulty sleeping if I haven't checked those things off the list. And as you know, I need my sleep. :)
6. I have only vacuumed my stairs twice since I moved here (almost a year and a half ago). That is completely embarrassing to confess- especially since Seth is really taking to crawling up and down them. The hose attachment doesn't work on mine, so when I have done it I borrowed my neighbors and I don't want to ask her again. Can I borrow yours? Better yet, will you vacuum them for me. I have never cared for that job and it is really showing. :)
7. I am still super scared of spiders. I usually keep in it my heart, but I fear they will attack at any minute and I pretty much think every spider, daddy-long-legs included, is a hobo, or very poisonous spider (just ask Doug).
8. I am lousy at saying "no" (except to my kids). I'm working on it, but the next book I plan to purchase is, I Don't Have to Make Everything All Better.
9. Confession: I am super visual and I barely skim anyone's post that doesn't at least have a picture of something on it.
10. I feel guilty every time I take any medicine-- mind you, I almost never do (a very occasional Ibuprofen if the pain is incredible), but the guilt is almost worst then the pain. Why you ask? I can just hear my mother saying, "Herbs are for the use of man," and if I was sick she just pumped me full of USANA vitamins and Fibergag. I'm sure she is right- I mean just look at me, I'm a good strong woman. :) But a Tylenol every once in a while is probably ok, right?

Happy Halloween!
Aunnual Pumpkin carving! I lost the charger for our camera, and the battery just died. I am sick about it! I have so many pictures I have been wanting to take lately- pretty much Halloween stands completely undocumented because of it! I wish you could see Doug's awesome flame pumpkin- it was pretty cool! We had fun though- the girls were cute little fairies. They called themselves, "Lilac and Rose-pedal." We had fun trick-or-treating around the apartments and the mall. We had a really fun haunted house at our ward party- I wish I had been able to take pictures- the girls were thrilled! Seth was a cute little pumpkin again. Got to find that charger!!!!! No pictures make me crazy!!!
I just think it is so ironic that Autumn is reading my "Positive Discipline A to Z" book. Especially considering she was the reason behind pulling it out. :) She was quite amazed with my wig and no matter how many times I put it away- I keep finding out again! :) She is still doing well with the potty training- "knock on digital/virtual wood"! :)
Although it did keep him confined, for some reason, I don't think this was the intended use of Seth's new gate. He doesn't either. :)
