I always have to snag a picture or two on Sunday so that the girls know that I cleaned them up and did their hair every once in a while. :) We are attending a new family ward and the girls have loved the primary. (Thanks again Pete for the fun pillow case dresses- they have been one of the most popular! :)
This is how cooperative Seth is during photo shoots now that he can walk around. There is no holdng him down, but he was cute too. :) He has four new teeth and he just got a hair cut.

A Bunch of Bunk...
I love it when Doug takes a shift with the kids. This is usually what happens while I am doing dishes. He takes a lot on... no pun intended. :)
Just had to show you a glimpse of my Autumn watching Lawrence Welk. This is her usually gear with a slight sway of the hips the whole time. I think she is much like what I must have been- oh I had a patient mother!!!! (Join us every Saturday night at 7pm on PBS. :)
We found a used bunk bed on craig's list to help free up some space in the girls room. The kids have been so excited. It is missing the ladder, so they have been like little monkey's figuring out how to get up there. I was so proud of the way Doug put it together. It is nice solid wood, but it was missing a couple pieces, so Doug was pretty creative about the assembly. It is definitely used (I was going to paint it, but I was too lazy, but we're happy about it. :)

Play Day at the Park
We met with some friends in our ward for a play day at the park. We packed a yummy luck and had fun visiting!
Blackberry Picking...
A new friend showed us a great spot for picking black berries. They were heavenly! We went for family night and we had such a great time! We came back with stained hands and faces and a lot of cuts and slivers (we will go better equipped next time) but we only picked for an hour and got quite a few berries- enough for me to put up 7 jars of jam and make 2 delicious Black Berry Pies. Watch for the post coming up on my cooking blog! :) I found a good recipe!

Don't Eat Pete!!!!
This is a silly one to post, but it is the kids absolute favorite game to play for family night, so we have to humor them ever once in a while. (If you haven't heard of it, you just make nine boxes on a paper and label it 1-9, then you put something yummy pick in each box. You pick a number when the person is out of the room, then when they come pack and eat that number, you yell, "Don't eat Pete."

Give a man a stick...
...and all the sudden, he is ten again. :) We took a little family trip to the park on a VERY HOT afternoon and Doug had fun teaching the children the "wielding ways." I tried to join and just about lost my pinkie (he's not so easy on me, because he knows I could win :), so I prefer to be a spectator from now on; however, the children are free engage in combat and I am available to dress their wounds. :)
I want to be a missionary now!
The sweet sister missionaries stopped by and shared a bite to eat. It was SO FUN because Sis. Okomura was from an area in Japan that Douglas served on his mission. They new many of the same people, and when they got talking, they actually found out that her sister married Doug's trainer. Small world huh? It was fun to hear them speak Japanese. They are cute sisters and the girls love it when they come so they came try on their tags and helmets. :)
Splish Slpash...
We took a fun trip to the local pool. It was fun to play in the water- I don't know how we always seems to pick the windy days, but it was still a blast.
Trip to Spokane
Amberlee and I took a little trip to Spokane to see a Pediatric Urologist. We had some fun one on one time and the appointment went so well. I felt like they really got us headed in the right direction! I packed a little lunch and we ate at a nearby park that was so pretty. I had some trouble maneuvering through the one way streets, but all in all, it was a fun trip!

Sometimes "medicine" is the best medicine...
Benj and Amy, thanks for the Dramamine! :) (It was our first trip without car-sick kids!) We're home again and getting geared up for another semester and Amberlee's kindergarten. I think it will be good for the kids to have some stability. We pulled into Taco Time for lunch on our way home, and Autumn exclaimed, "IS THIS OUR NEW HOUSE?!!!" :)
I Don't Know How He Did It....
...I SERIOUSLY don't know how he did it! I don't know how he crammed a van load of stuff into this tiny car, but he did it. This man is amazing... espeically when it comes to packing. (And he's on my team- Yay!)
This was not the final- there were clothes and things stuffed in between all of this. Crazy!

Good Bye Get Together...
The Stewarts threw us a fun Good Bye party with fun family members on both sides! They grilled up some yummy hamburgers and we sure had fun visiting!
Doug's cousin Kim has two cute kids that I just love! They are the cutest red-heads I have ever seen! The kids got along so well!
